The Super Bowl Host Committee Handoff has officially taken place, as Las Vegas can now relax after giving all responsibility over to New Orleans on Monday morning. The logo for Super Bowl 59 was also revealed, and if Aaron Rodgers is confident in his theory, it means he has a strong chance of playing in Louisiana this time next season.

The New York Jets quarterback is known for his theories and made a bold claim that the Super Bowl logo decides ahead of time which teams will make it.

For Super Bowl LVII, the logo was red and green, with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles reaching the finale. Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles had a logo with red, orange, and yellow, which matched the colors of both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams.

With Super Bowl LVIII revealing a red and purple logo, Rodgers speculated that if the Baltimore Ravens face the San Francisco 49ers then there could be weight to his theory. However, he said that the emblem for Super Bowl LIX "better have Jet green on it" and he must be happy after his wish was granted.

"If the Super Bowl is Baltimore and San Fran, then I tell you what that Super Bowl LIX emblem better have Jet green on it," Rodgers said on the Pat McAfee Show. "Just look at the colors. Look at the colors."

The new logo is red and green, but a lighter green than the emblem from two years ago. If Rodgers' theory is correct, it could mean that the Jets are in for a huge 2024 season, but the team that matches the colors most is the Seattle Seahawks.

The fact that there is red in the logo is also good news for Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The San Francisco 49ers were left feeling devastated again on Sunday night, as the Chiefs came from behind to win in overtime.

It was the third Super Bowl ring that Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and head coach Andy Reid have won together, and their second in a row. Kelce screamed after the game that the "three-peat is on" and Mahomes is also targeting history.

Mahomes already made history on Sunday, as no other quarterback has won three Super Bowls before the age of 30. But no team in history has ever won three Super Bowls in a row.

The New England Patriots and the Niners have gone close, but now the Chiefs have their chance to go back-to-back-to-back. Coach Reid and Kelce said they have no plans to retire, so the team will still be at full strength.
